Five Bees Farm is a work in progress. Seventeen acres of North Devon land being transformed, carefully and deliberately, into a regenerative agroforestry system that grows perennial botanical herbs for the UK pet and equine supplement sector, while putting as much back into the land and its wildlife as it takes out.

This journal is where we document that process honestly. The thinking behind the decisions we make, the species we are establishing, the wildlife we are working to attract, and what it looks like to build a farm from the ground up in a way that actually makes ecological sense.

We write for the manufacturers and buyers who want to understand where their ingredients come from, for the investors and partners who share our belief that farming can be done differently, and for anyone who is curious about what regenerative agriculture looks like in practice on a real piece of land in the south-west of England.
